Using Fruit in a Pancake Recipe

Do you like pancakes? Most people do. How often can you eat cake for breakfast? Okay, how often can you eat cake for breakfast and not really feel guilty about it? When you eat pancakes, you can.

If you want a simple and tasty breakfast, you can’t go wrong with pancakes. Keep some tips in mind and watch what you’re doing, and it’s hard to mess up on making a delicious batch of golden brown pancakes.

One tip to keep in mind is to not beat the batter too much. You only need to gently stir it until it is mixed together. If you over-beat it, you will get tough, very undesireable pancakes. Think gentle with pancakes.

Sometimes basic pancakes can be kind of boring. The same old, same old. How can you jazz them up and make them just a bit more tasty and extra special?

One great idea is fruit. Fruit is great just plain for breakfast or added to just about any breakfast food short of eggs and bacon. You can’t go wrong adding fruit in some way to your pancakes.

Do you like blueberry pancakes? They have the blueberries right in the pancakes. You can do this with just about any kind of fruit. Just pick a type of fruit, if necessary, cut it into smaller pieces, and then throw it in the batter.

You can also throw the fruit on top. If you don’t like warm, cooked fruit, doing it this way will keep it fresh and delicious. For example, load up the finished pancakes with fresh sliced strawberries and top it off with some creamy whipped cream.

If you love fruit and you love pancakes, you must try the combination. It might just taste so much better than you ever could imagine. Try all kinds of fruit and different mixes and see how it tastes mixing it all together!
