Blues Clues Party Supplies - Ideal Theme Party For children
If you’re thinking of a fun theme for your preschooler’s birthday, consider using Blues Clues for your theme. Everyone loves Blues Clues, the animated and live action children’s program with Blue, Joe and all their friends. Blues Clues party supplies can be ordered online or you can get creative and make them yourself.
Your child’s friends will be singing Steve and Joe’s favorite song when the mail arrives. “We just got a letter.. We just got a letter…”. Make your own “pawty” invitations by using 3×5 cards. You can draw or stamp a big blue paw print on each one. Write “here’s your first clue! We’re having balloons and lots of cake, too !” Use a colorful marker to write out party details on the other side.
Blue leaves her paw prints everywhere, so they should be everywhere at the party. On streamers, paper plates, cups and all over the table. You can draw paw prints with a blue marker or stamp them using a paw print stamp pad. The balloons should be blue and white and if you have helium balloons, tie them to a stuffed toy - a Blue’s Clues toy of course, and set that in the middle of the table.
If you have someone to help you and a large appliance box, you can make a replica of Joe’s house. Use an extra piece for a bright, red roof. Cut out windows and doors and paint the outside orange. It will be a hit with the little ones. You can make great favors using Blue’s favorite things to do.
Where else should you write down the clues you find than in a handy dandy notebook? Decorate small spiral ring notebooks, which you can find at a dollar store, with stickers, markers, ribbons and small pieces of fabric. Blue’s friends, Pail and Shovel are always ready to play games in the backyard with Blue, Pail and Shovel can be take-home friends too. Purchase small pails and shovels from a five and dime store and draw faces on them with indelible ink.
Dress-up items can be popular Blue’s Clue party supplies, Blue’s ears can be easily made using a white ball cap or painter’s hat with a peak. You’ll need blue and red felt for the ears and tongue and a black marker to draw the face. Cut long, droopy ears out of the blue felt and a tongue out of the red. Then glue, staple or sew the ears and tongues on each hat.
When planning out food and other Blues Clue party supplies, dog cookies can be fun to make as treats for everyone. Well, not real dog cookies, just pretend ones. Bake sugar cookies in the shape of a dog paw or bone and decorate with blue icing. All it takes is a little imagination and a few clues from Blue herself.
With your supplies taken care of, what are you going to wear for the party ? How about an orange prison costume ?
