Thanksgiving time is the time we give thanks for the blessing of having special people in our lives. When we honor those people with a special meal, we want to also decorate to fit the occasion.
What are your favorite memories from your State or County Fair? Is it the fair food? I know mine is! When my family walks through those gates at the fair, the first thing we head for is the corn dogs. Once we each have our favorite corn dog, we are good to go!
After several months of big meals, many folks run out of ideas for eating the many dishes of leftovers piling up in the refrigerator. I am guilty of forcing my family to eat endless repeats of the same old plates filled with the same old food. Chances are you’ll be throwing out food if you try to present that same plate a third time.
